General Purpose of the Position
The Regional Manager plans, organizes, coordinates, and leads the implementation of projects at the Area Program level, including staff management, monitoring and evaluation, and financial management, ensuring that projects remain on schedule, within scope, and within budget. The Regional Manager represents the Regional Office before the corresponding public institutions and community structures, and is expected to ensure that Food for the Hungry increasingly achieves community transformation through quality control in project implementation and the application of the organization’s Heartbeat: Values, Mindsets and Behaviors, and the Golden Circle.
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Economic, Financial, Administrative, Social, Engineering, or Health Sciences.
• Postgraduate studies in Project Management, Development, Monitoring and Evaluation, or related fields.
Experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in NGOs and/or international cooperation institutions.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project or program leadership positions.
• Experience in sponsorship-based institutions will be valued.
Technical / Functional Skills
• Proficiency in programmatic and project management methodologies.
• Applied systems thinking, as well as human-centered design.
• Advanced knowledge of monitoring, tracking, and evaluation systems and tools.
• Facilitation of peer learning processes or internal communities of practice.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, as well as virtual work platforms such as Zoom, Teams, or similar tools.
Management Skills
• Strategic leadership.
• Relationship management and coordination.
• People and team management.
• Change management and adaptability.
Language Skills
• Intermediate written and spoken English.
