Food for the Hungry promoted a gathering among women producers from the peri-urban agriculture network of the Valleys, fostering joint learning and knowledge exchange.
During the day, participants visited Mano a Mano’s model farm, as well as the family, school, and community gardens of the Alerta Verde Foundation in Arbieto, learning about innovative techniques for sustainable production.
