My family has always been humble. Before, we only lived on mote, peanuts, and the little we could grow here. Water was scarce, and producing food was difficult. Today, we thank God because He placed FH Bolivia in our lives. Many families feel blessed by the help we have received. Now we have technical irrigation, which allows us to increase our production.

Wilfredo Mendez

Torotoro, Potosí

Before, we had to go to the river with clothes and tubs to wash and bathe. We mothers had to walk long distances with our children just to give them a bath. Now, thanks to FH Bolivia, we have water in our homes and our own washing facilities. I also participate in the moms’ club, where I learn to better feed my daughter and take care of hygiene. I am very grateful to FH for all the support.

Epifania Higueras

Sapse, Chuquisaca

Our life used to be very hard because of work. Before, we were taxi drivers or construction workers, but it was never enough to provide for our families. That’s why we started making handicrafts, even though we had no machinery or tools. FH Bolivia supported us with workshops and later with equipment to continue our business. Now we also receive support for our children and food. Each month we can save a little, and with that, we want to keep growing. We will always be grateful to FH.
